Established in 1878, this tranquil oasis of flowers, trees and plant life is beautiful, and you can even take the dog! There is also Brickfields Pond in Rhyl which makes a fantastic and picturesque visit. This freshwater lake has sweeping grassland and forestry around its perimeter and there is a fun sculpture walking trail that can be taken in between looking at the incredible wildlife around the pond.
Rhyl Miniature Railway is a wonderful attraction which has been running in the town for over 100 years. As Britain’s oldest miniature railway line, the steam trains used today originate from the 1920s and they travel through some spectacular scenery, offering a nostalgic experience in a beautiful setting for all who hop aboard!
Being home to several sandy beaches, Rhyl does in fact have one beach that is dog-friendly – Splash Point. On this beach your canine companion can let loose on the sands at any time of year, so no one needs to be left out on a wonderful holiday to Rhyl!
