The multi-level garden lends itself to dinner alfresco and is also a great place to sip your morning coffee whilst watching the tranquil water of the Dyfi as it floats past, green fields disappearing into the distance. Cloudless nights will draw you out to the patio to star gaze the dark skies.

•    Well equipped stylish kitchen - After a day of exploring the countryside, put together a hot meal in the well-equipped kitchen, and serve up at the handy breakfast bar, or in the upstairs living area.

•    Upstairs light filled, spacious living room. Enjoy the warming heat of the woodburning stove as you relax and watch TV, on one of the two comfy sofas . Eat together at a table opposite the window with a lovely view.

•    A family or group of four will love the two attractive and inviting bedrooms. The twin is on the first floor, just along from the living area, and the double is on the ground-floor.

•    Also on the ground-floor is a very pretty white and grey bathroom with bath and shower-over.

Get to know the locals at the village pub whilst picking up provisions at the local store.

For beach lovers, Aberystwyth is not far away, but for terrific mountain views a trip to the summit on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway is unbeatable; the fit in the party can walk.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, but no smoking. Parking on a first-come, first-served basis, on the roadside, a short walk away. Power, fuel, starter pack for woodburning stove, linen, towels all in rent. Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
