Watch the Sun Rise and Set Over the Valley!
Outside is seating with magnificent valley views. Sit out, soak up the stunning views, and relax with a morning coffee as you watch the sun rise, or with a glass of cool wine as you watch the sun set. Views and moments like this are what superb holidays are made of!Relax and Unwind in an Idyllic Part of Powys on a Glamping Holiday
Whether for a couples’ retreat or a small family holiday, this is an idyllic hideway where you can enjoy a taste of adventure and get back to nature, with many of the comforts of home. In terms of location, the tent is set between two large beech trees in the owner's idyllic 2 acres of sheltered secluded gardens. The gardens are simply idyllic with a waterfall, panoramic valley views and are nestled next to natural woodland. This is a tranquil and secluded area where you can enjoy privacy and tranquillity. Also on site, but not visible from the glamping tent and hidden amongst trees more than 200 metres away, are a caravan and a holiday bungalow. All 3 accommodations are far enough apart within the 2 acres of land that there will be no feeling of intrusion on privacy. This is not a place with neatly manicured lawns and flower beds! It is a wild garden and woodland with 15 benches and half a mile of strimmed paths cut through untouched pasture with long grass and wild flowers. Please note that some of the surrounding woodland is steep in parts, and paths are uneven in places. It's therefore recommended you bring good walking shoes if you want to explore the local area. There is an exclusive parking area for the tent, just off the lane, only 25 metres from the tent which is in one corner of the 2 acre woodland. Also to be enjoyed on site is a BBQ and fire pit with grill, so you can really make the most of alfresco living.Explore the Gorgeous Elan Valley and More on Holiday
The surrounding area is a special attraction for walkers because of the sheer variety of scenery (it's recommended you bring good walking boots), with its many large lakes and reservoirs, rivers and rolling hills. Also close by is the spectacular Elan Valley with its 4 reservoirs and river walks. You can hire bikes in nearby Rhayader to enjoy the quiet lanes and paths of the Elan Valley area. Nearby is the most spectacular section of Offa's Dyke as well as Glyndwr's Way and Hafren Forest, with the famous walk to the source of the River Severn. On days out, enjoy exploring the local area and visit the most spectacular and tallest waterfall in England and Wales! Also close by is Lake Vyrnwy Nature Reserve, 2 red kite feeding centres, and horse riding can be booked only half a mile away. This owner/agency has featured on countrycottagesonline.com since 2021
