Woodland Waterfalls is a lovely property that offers stunning views over the thickly wooded valleys and rolling hills of Mid Wales. Set amongst 2 acres of sheltered and secluded grounds, this all ground floor property is perfect for a relaxing rural retreat break.  Wake up to stunning rural views, chill out on the hammock or hang out on the hanging chair, this is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing break and reconnect with nature, either for a romantic escape or for a small family holiday.  Sorry no pets allowed.

 

Inside this Idyllic Ground Floor Rural Retreat in Powys

Sleeping up to 3 guests, Woodland Waterfalls has a living room with huge picture windows that boast beautiful views of the wild pasture and flowers with rhododendrons and woodland above; this window benefits from receiving late afternoon and evening sun, meaning it is a lovely spot in which to relax and unwind. There is a Hi-Fi system in the living room which plays CD's and even old cassette tapes.  This room also features a comfy sofa bed.

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, plenty of storage space and an antique writing bureau. A sofabed is situated right in front of a large window which is great for enjoying spectacular views as well as sun rises, morning sunlight and the rising full moon.  Directly outside this window is the outside sitting area with even more of a panoramic view of hills and woodlands.

There is also a large bathroom with a long bath, a shower, constant hot water and 2 bar radiant heater. Woodland Waterfalls is a great choice of accommodation all year round, you will not be cold here as the front door and all windows are double-glazed. There is also an electric "simulated log burner" which offers a very realistic flame and smoke effect that is very difficult to tell from the real thing.  This holiday home is connected to the owner's home.

Parking space is available for 2 cars.

Relax and Unwind in the Owner's Expansive Gardens and Woodlands

Outside the property there is a beautiful, secluded garden and woodland.  There are babbling streams leading into 5 pools,and a 6 metre waterfall which can be floodlit after dark. There is plenty of space to explore and relax in the garden with half a mile of paths, benches, swinging benches, a 2-person hammock and a hanging chair set in a great positions for enjoying views of the trees, pools and surrounding scenery. One of the benches is found next to the waterfalls pool. 

The largest 2 pools are 11 metres in width. The gardens and woodland attract a great range of birds, ranging from robins and blackbirds to buzzards, red kites and woodpeckers.

Woodland Waterfalls is situated at the end of a one-mile no-through-road and birdsong is often all you will hear as only around 5 cars will pass each day. This secluded tranquil location is perfect for holidaymakers seeking a peaceful rural getaway. From the top of the garden you can walk directly onto the hills to enjoy the breath-taking panoramic views.

You can walk directly onto the hills from the garden where you can enjoy breath-taking panoramic views, there are also a number of level walks available from the lane where you can see rare breed sheep and angora goats.
