The medieval walled town of Pembroke lies on a peninsula south of Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire. Pembroke Docks lie on the estuary itself, 2 miles north of the town. Ferries from Pembroke ply the Irish Sea to Rosslare. Being a coastal town, there are excellent watersports and boating facilities. There are numerous tourist attractions in the area including the Martello Gun Tower visitor centre, and Pembroke Castle which was the birthplace of Henry VII.
