Currently there are 4 recognised Dark Sky Reserves in Britain; Exmoor National Park, the South Downs, the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia National Park.
There are also many unspoilt rural areas in Britain, as well as lots of wide open unspoilt spaces in Scotland and remote places where there is no light pollution and excellent stargazing opportunities. Stay up in some parts of Scotland and you may even see other stunning phenomena like the Northern Lights!
