Enter the welcoming open-plan living space of Castle View Lodge, inviting you to fully relax in your new home from home. You can stretch out on the sofa, claiming the sought after corner space on the sofa so you can snuggle up and put on a family-favourite show on the smart TV (and if you can’t quite agree, there are two more TVs in the bedrooms!). You might want to prepare some movie snacks in the kitchen, a sleek matte black design with all the equipment you need to whip up a 5-star restaurant-style meal or just a quick snack before heading out. There’s an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher, so you’ll have all you need! 

When you’re ready to sit down and enjoy a meal together, there’s a charming dining table set for four in the kitchen space. Or, if it’s a warm evening, enjoy the dining alfresco on the decking as you watch the sunset over a glass of bubbly. It’s the ideal spot for relaxing with your family as you reminisce on all the memories you make on holiday.

Inside there are also two cosy bedrooms perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day of adventuring up and down Derbyshire. The master bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, complete with a dressing table and even a TV, so you can snuggle up with your loved one under cosy sheets and savour a chilled-out evening. The other bedroom is just as lovely, with a convenient twin layout so you can recreate the joy of a childhood sleepover, chatting through the night as you turn on the TV for a cheesy film. In the morning, wake up and head to the shower room, kitted out with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, so you can refresh yourself for the exciting day ahead.

Castle View Lodge is located next to the tranquil River Dove on a charming working farm, so as soon as you arrive at the lodge you’ll be surrounded by stunning views of nature as birds chirp to welcome your arrival. Right from your doorstep, you can enjoy being surrounded by nature, whether you’re looking out at the views from the bubbly hot tub or taking a walk down by the River (it’s the perfect spot for some of the on-site fishing opportunities!). Off-site, explore all the wonderful surrounding offerings of Derbyshire and beyond, from Sudbury Hall, a majestic national trust property, to the excitement of a day out at Alton Towers. For nature lovers, a trip to Thistley Place Meadow or the Peak District National Park will certainly be in order. Or, experience village life in quaint Hatton with its independent shop and pub.
