The lounge with its comfy sofa, and comfy chairs is an ideal place to relax after a day’s exploring the local area. Watch TV with Freeview while the heat of the woodburning stove creates a feel good ambiance.The kitchen has rich, country style wooden furniture, including table and chairs, and will surely be a pleasure to both cook and eat in. Appliances include a gas hob, an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room.
You will sleep well, upstairs in the two, peaceful bedrooms, with fluffy duvets:

There is also a family bathroom with a free-standing bath, a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

In good weather the gravel front garden is an excellent place to sit with a drink, and enjoy the tranquil views over the surrounding open countryside. Children under five must be supervised as the front garden is unfenced.
On days out, take a ride on a vintage steam train at nearby Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, or head to Peak Rail, in Matlock for diesel and steam trips combined with stunning views. The adventurous may want to try their hand at watersports offered at Carsington Water just 5 miles away or visit for a leisurely stroll.
