Book a holiday lodge beside the water at the South Lakeland Leisure Village on the edge of Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The leisure village is a short drive away from the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowlland, another stunning rural area.

The lodge is one of several on this site. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and guests may bring one dog. In common with other lodges on-site it has a wooden veranda with garden furniture, so that guests can sit out or enjoy lunch in the fresh air on good days. The lodge has a spacious open-plan living area; a fitted kitchen is built along two walls, a dining table with four chairs separates the business end of the room from the sofas and relaxing end. The sofas and furnishings are all in neutral shades that are easy on the eye.

The first double bedroom is attractively styled, the bed has a buttoned and padded headboard, there are cupboards over the bed and a fitted dressing table and cupboards on an adjoining wall. A television is mounted high on the wall for relaxed viewing in bed.

The second bedroom is a twin bedroom with two single beds separated by a bedside table. This room features the same decor and style of bedding and also has compact fitted furniture. The first bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower over, the second has an attractive shower room.

Patio doors from the living area open out onto the decking where there are tables and chairs for outdoor dining, relaxing and chatting. One dog is welcome. The holiday accommodation is ready to move into when you arrive, it is gas centrally heated and has a gas hob and electric oven for cooking. There are some optional facilities on the site, such as a swimming pool which could be popular with some guests, a café gym, a restaurant, and fishing is possible on the lake.

These lodges provide purpose-built self-catering holiday accommodation and are equipped with just about everything that you might need to cater for yourself on holiday. The main attraction of the location is beautiful scenery and its proximity two national parks.
