The main attraction to Wookey Hole is the tourist site of the Wookey Hole Caves. Also in Wookey Hole is the Site of Special Scientific Interest, Ebbor Gorge, a National Trust-owned nature reserve and limestone gorge, which is great to visit as it is less crowded than the caves. Walkers may wish to take the long-distance footpaths of the Mendip Way and the Monarch’s Way which pass through the village, or you may which to take your friends and family on a day trip to the Grade II listed Glencot House, which dates from 1887.
