This is not a definitive list but welcome packs are provided on arrival at the following holiday cottages in the Malvern area.
It is very pleasant to discover a selection of teas, coffee, biscuits and perhaps cake when you arrive at your holiday accommodation after a journey. It is good to sit down and appraise your new surroundings whilst you relax over a cup of tea.
Kitchen provisions
Some holiday accommodation owners are more thoughtful and generous than others. You may find a bottle of local Worcestershire cider, wine, sauce or cheese, or anything else that is typical of the Malverns. Some properties are extremely well supplied with herbs, spices, condiments, cooking oil, bin bags and detergents – the kind of items most people would need only a small amount of during their holiday but would not necessarily want to bring with them.
Catering for yourself on an ‘accommodation only’ holiday
Any items that are supplied when you arrive for an accommodation only holiday are always appreciated, especially if this is your first experience of his type of break. Most people realise that they need to provide their own food and drink but sometimes forget the soap powder for laundry or extra rolls of toilet paper. Again, it all depends on where you stay, some property owners provide all detergents, kitchen roll and loo paper but by no means all. It is difficult to compare accommodation on price because of these differences. It is best to ask before making a final decision about where to stay.
