Rhewl is a small rural village situated close to the town of Llangollen in Denbighshire in North East Wales. It has a wonderfully quaint Welsh feel to it, and you will certainly feel a sense of a close-knit community during a stay in Rhewl due to the very small population of the settlement. As well as the Eisteddfod, Llangollen is home to the Llangollen Fringe Festival, also in July. This group of events focus on art, comedy and theatre, and artists including Tracey Emin have taken part in the festival before.
