Hot tubs are not suitable for children and even then there are health restrictions. Pregnant ladies should not use them, nor people with heart problems. Inebriation and wine glasses in hot tubs are not the best combination in the world. Holidaymakers are often requested to sign a disclaimer when renting a property with a hot tub although there really is little need if people behave sensibly.

Relaxing in the warm massaging waters of a hot tub can be most soothing and is even a sociable activity if it is a large hot tub that can accommodate several people. Hot tubs are rather like Marmite – people either love them or hate them.
