On the other side of the estuary lies the vast Lake District National Park which is home to lakes, quaint villages and mountains. Grizedale Forest Park is only 24 miles from Arnside and is an enchanting woodland situated towards the south of the Lake District. With shops, cafes and friendly people, Arnside is a wonderful place to rent a cottage for a special break in Cumbria.
