What Tansley offers for Cottage Breaks

Tansley sits alongside the A615 Road that leads east from Matlock. It is a quiet village with a couple of churches, a children’s playground, a village hall, a pub serving food and a restaurant. There are plenty of dry stone garden walls, greenery and attractive views to the hills beyond. The housing contains a mixture of bungalows, modern two storey houses and older stone-built properties.  It is a pleasant place to stay if you would like to holiday in Derbyshire and the Peak District.

There is not much in the way of shops but the town of Matlock is just two miles away and has everything that most holidaymakers would need.

This could be a very nice place to stay if you enjoy a peaceful village setting. One place to possibly visit nearby if you are interested in gardening is the Matlock Garden Centre which also has a café. You might be able to buy a plant to take home to remind you of your holiday in Tansley.
