During August, the Dingle Races takes place and in September, the exciting Regatta occurs as well as the International Dingle Film Festival. The most exciting festival in the town of Dingle, however, takes place on 26th December on Wren’s Day. This festival sees the whole settlement joining in and dressing up in traditional Irish costumes, spilling out into the streets with music and dance and having a generally merry old time! The town also hosts a fantastic fireworks display on New Year’s Eve which draws in large crowds because it is the only one of the time of year in Ireland.
