Go somewhere beautiful on holiday in the UK. We have so many fabulous national parks, of which the New Forest is one of the most southerly in England, located on the south coast in Hampshire.
The New Forest is no longer just the playground of kings, you and I can now go there to walk, ride horses, go mountain biking or just stay and enjoy wildlife walks and safaris spotting deer, badgers and foxes. Wild ponies wander at will, there are butterflies and birdsong. An escape from the city does us all good. Book a cottage, log cabin, house or apartment in the New Forest and have a wonderful break.
There is a wide selection of places to eat and drink from simple tea shops to posh restaurants - something for everyone. One personal recommendation is Rosie Lea's teashop in Brockenhurst, especially the carrot and ginger soup with focaccia - it's a real pleasure.
