Holiday cottage parks

Holiday cottage parks are places where groups of cottages share communal facilities and most are ideal for family self-catering holidays.

Tourist destinations will have several holiday cottage parks for a family holiday. People often opt to visit the Lake District, Peak District, Cornwall and similar popular destinations for their summer holidays, hence cottage holiday parks have developed over the years.

The character and style of each holiday park will vary, there are log cabin holidays in the Peak District which offer cycle trails and a swimming pool. There are also luxury 5 star cottage holidays with rather more sophisticated activities on offer, and some that are centred around a golf course or fishing lakes.

Because holiday parks welcome large groups of people, they are able to provide a wider range of facilities than an individual cottage. It much depends on the type of self-catering holiday you are looking for. Cottages with hot tubs are one popular choice.
